Control

'Control' was created one afternoon where I was fixated on the outcome of painting. I found myself overthinking color, movement, and composition to create something unique, pretty, or impressive. I ended up not being very happy with this painting.

After recovering this off the shelf many months later, I only see the beauty of my own natural human urge to control and be perceived a certain way.
